Anti-Trpc4 antibody is validated on mouse tissue and can be used for immunofluorescence labeling, IHC, or western blot of materials from rodent and human tissues.
Transient receptor potential cation channel subfamily C member 4 (Trpc4) is encoded by the TRPC4 gene in human. Trpc4 forms a non-selective calcium-permeable cation channel that is activated by Gq-coupled receptors and tyrosine kinases, and plays a role in multiple processes including endothelial permeability, vasodilation, neurotransmitter release and cell proliferation. Trpc4 protein consists in six transmembrane domains, four ANK repeats and one PDZ binding motif. Trpc4 has been shown to interact with Trpc1 and Trpc5.
