Anti-Trpv4 antibody is validated on mouse tissue and can be used for immunofluorescence labeling, IHC, or western blot of materials from rodent and human tissues.
Transient receptor potential cation channel subfamily V member 4 (Trpv4) is a channel protein that is encoded by the TRPV4 gene in human. Trpv4 is a Ca2+-permeable, nonselective cation channel that is thought to be involved in the regulation of systemic osmotic pressure. Trpv4 protein consists in six transmembrane domains and three ANK repeats and has been shown to interact with E-cadherin and beta-catenin. Mutations in TRPV4 cause spondylometaphyseal and metatropic dysplasia and hereditary motor and sensory neuropathy type IIC.
