Anti-VCAM1 (CD106) antibody is validated on mouse tissue and recommended for immunofluorescence labeling, IHC, or western blot of materials from rodent and human tissues.
Vascular cell adhesion molecule 1 (VCAM1) is encoded b the VCAM1 gene in human. VCAM1 is also known as CD106. VCAM1 is known to mediate the adhesion of lymphocytes to the vascular endothelium during inflammation.
VCAM1 consists of a N-terminal extracellular domain, a single transmembrane domain, and a short C-terminal intracellular domain.
VCAM1 is expressed by lymphocytes, monocytes, eosinophils and basophils and various epithelial cells.
