Anti-VEGFR2 (KDR or FLK1 or CD309) antibody is validated on mouse tissue and recommended for immunofluorescence labeling, IHC, or western blot of materials from rodent and human tissues.
Vascular endothelial growth factor receptor 2 (VEGFR-2), also known as kinase insert domain receptor (KDR), CD309 (cluster of differentiation 309) or FLK1 (Fetal Liver Kinase 1), is encoded by the KDR gene in human. VEGFR2 functions as the main mediator of VEGF-induced endothelial proliferation, survival, migration, tubular morphogenesis and sprouting.
Mutations of this gene are implicated in infantile capillary hemangiomas.
