Anti-Plakophilin-3 (PKP3) antibody is validated on mouse tissue and recommended for immunofluorescence labeling, IHC, or western blot of materials from rodent and human tissues.
Plakophilin-3 is encoded by the PKP3 gene in human. Plakophilin-3 belongs to the protein family of Plakophilin. Plakophilin proteins contain nine armadillo repeats, localize to the desmosomes, and participate in linking cadherins to intermediate filaments in the cytoskeleton.
Plakophilin-3 is expressed by various epithelia including the skin and the intestines.
