Anti-Trpc6 (N-terminus) antibody is validated on mouse tissue and can be used for immunofluorescence labeling, IHC, or western blot of materials from rodent and human tissues.
Transient receptor potential cation channel subfamily C member 6 (Trpc6) is a calcium channel protein that is encoded by the TRPC6 gene in human. Trpc6 protein consists in six transmembrane domains and four ANK repeats.
Trpc6 is activated by diacylglycerol and is under the control of the phosphatidylinositol second messenger system. Mutations in TRPC6 cause focal segmental glomerulosclerosis 2 (FSGS2) (OMIM 603965).
